The medley was written as an enrolment precondition for the B category international competition of Avsenik music for wind orchestras. The competition took place in Bled on 18th and 19th October 2008.
The Avsenik Medley includes the following titles:
a - V planinski koči, Valček Karavank, Spet na vasi,
b - Melodija za tebe, Ja ja 'k je lušno, Veseli Begunjčani,
c - Prijatelji ostanimo prijatelji
