General Terms and Conditions
The General Terms and Conditions of Založba Avsenik, Tamara Avsenik s.p. are in compliance with the Consumer
Protection Act (ZVPot), the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and international codes of
practice for online shops.
The online shop www.avsenik.com (hereinafter referred to as the “online shop”) is operated by Založba Avsenik,
Tamara Avsenik s.p. as an e-commerce service provider (hereinafter referred to as "the Provider"). On registration in the
online shop system, the visitor obtains a username identical to their email address, and a password. The username and
password unambiguously define the user and link them to the data entered. By way of registration, the visitor becomes a user

The general terms and conditions regulate the operation of the online shop, the rights of the user and the business relationship
between the Provider and the customer.
Access to information
The Provider undertakes to always provide the Customer with the following information:
• Company identity (company name and registered office, registration number);
• Contact information for quick and efficient communication (email, telephone);
• The essential properties of the goods or services (including after-sales services and warranties);
• Product availability (any product or service offered in the shop should be available within a reasonable time);
• Terms and conditions of product delivery or service performance (method, place and time of delivery);
• All prices must be stated clearly and unambiguously and must show whether they include taxes and shipping costs;
• Payment and delivery method;
• Period of validity of the offer;
• The period during which it is still possible to withdraw from the contract and the conditions for withdrawal, and what are the
customer's costs of returning a product, if applicable;
• An explanation of the complaint procedure, including any contact person or customer service details.
Product range
As a consequence of the specific nature of online sales, the product range in our online shop is frequently updated.
Prices are shown as regular prices and online prices. Regular prices are usually the manufacturer's or importer's
recommended selling prices, or prices determined by the Provider.
Liability
Založba Avsenik, Tamara Avsenik s.p. is not liable for disruptions to the service which are due to the user (e.g. a computer
infected with viruses) or the providers of infrastructure utilized by the online shop (e.g. internet outage).
Disclaimer of liability
The Provider uses its best efforts to ensure that the information published on its website is up‑to‑date and accurate. However,
the properties of the items, delivery times or prices may change rapidly and the Provider may not be able to quickly update
the information on the website. In such cases, the Provider will inform the customer of the changes and allow them to cancel
or modify their order. The Provider is not liable for the content of product reviews written by visitors. Before posting a review,
the Provider checks them and rejects those that contain obvious untruth, or that are misleading or offensive. The Provider is
not liable for the information contained in the opinions and is relieved of any liability arising from the information contained
in the reviews.
Although the Provider makes every effort to provide accurate photographs of sales items, all photographs must be understood
as symbolic. Photographs are no guarantee of the properties of the product.
Complaints and disputes
Založba Avsenik, Tamara Avsenik s.p. complies with the applicable consumer protection legislation. It makes every effort to
meet its duty in establishing an effective complaints processing system and designating a person the customer can contact by
telephone or via email in the event of any problems. The complaints procedure is available on the website, easy to use and
anonymous.
The Provider will confirm within five working days that the complaint has been received and will inform the customer of
how long its processing will take; the customer will be continuously informed of the progress of the procedure.
The Provider is aware that an essential feature of consumer disputes, at least as far as court settlement is concerned, is the
disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs involved in resolving the dispute. This is also a major
obstacle to the consumer bringing a dispute to the court. Therefore, the Provider will use its best efforts to resolve any
disputes by mutual agreement.
